Well, to say the least, once-upon-a-time I was a 13-year-old who discovered deviantart and drew dogs for the rest of her life.
I really appreciate the support this community has given me as an amateur, but as a self-proclaimed professional, this area of the internet no longer caters to my needs.
I draw for a living, and I don't get much business here (just a shot in the dark, but I think it's from the populus of 16 and under kids that enjoy my art.) Not that there's anything wrong with that! I'm really glad you enjoy my work, but it's hard to maintain an optional website when it doesn't get you much business.
Most of the time I'm drawing/doing life things so I don't really have time to manage my DA (as much as I would love to deck it out)
I want to make use of my subscription sometime and do some CSS and stuff and get my page looking nice but that's probably won't be for a while until I have some free time on my hands.
So, that's why I appear to be such a jerky-anti-social-mean-face to you guys. Life.
Although, while I'm not active here, I am active at my FA (although not as much as you would hope, i'm still antisocial) but there IS crap-ton more art posted there if you're interested!
[link]Thanks! Hopefully someday I feel warmer towards this website but for now I've got things to do and people to see, houses to get and cats to vet.

Hope you're having an overly splendid midday.
